| Chevrolet Equinox -- 2010 model The restyled and re-engineered 2010 Equinox goes on sale next summer. The small crossover gets its first four-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic transmission, meant to enhance fuel economy. The base engine will be General Motors' new direct-injection, 182-hp, 2.4-liter engine, with 174 pounds-feet of torque.
