Mini coupe concept
Mini's Frankfurt concept for a new coupe could expand the brand's lineup to five models.
Mini says the two-seater concept is designed to be the most dynamic and agile Mini ever.
The coupe's roof is made of aluminum and the concept's sleek looks have been achieved by lowering the roofline compared to the standard Mini hatchback.
The front-wheel drive coupe concept is powered by Mini's most powerful engine, a 1.6-liter turbocharged powerplant found in current John Cooper Works models.
If built, the coupe will be the fifth Mini variant after the hatchback, Clubman and convertible versions already on sale and a crossover model in the final stages of development.
