Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce
Lamborghini has upped the output of the V-12 engine in its flagship Murcielago sports car. The 6.5-liter unit now develops 670hp and is capable of propelling the supercar from zero to 100kph in 3.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 342kph. The increase represents a 30hp improvement over the predecessor car. The Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce also has dropped 100 kilograms of weight. Part of this comes from the selection of a new type of high-strength steel for the framework construction. Also, a redesigned exhaust system eliminated 26kg of weight. The car's front-end design has been significantly reworked, with larger and more air intakes for cooling the engine and brakes. Two different rear wing spoilers are offered, depending on the type of downforce the driver requires.
