Mitsubishi i MiEV Sport Air concept
The Mitsubishi i MiEV Sport Air is based on the electric-powered Mitsubishi i MiEV four-door, which goes on sale in Japan this summer. The show concept focuses on the entertaining performance and driving habits of future electric cars, while emitting zero CO2 emissions.The Japanese carmaker refers to the i MiEV Sports Air as a "pocket rocket," which points to a direction a production Mitsubishi electric car might take in the future. Mitsubishi began feasibility tests of a left-hand-drive version of the fourdoor i MiEV in the Netherlands, Norway, Spain and the UK, preparing the car for market introduction in Europe and the US in 2011.
