Peugeot Prologue concept
The five-door, near-production concept previews a SUV-styled crossover car that's intended to compete against models such as the Nissan Qashqai.
The Prologue is powered by a 200hp engine that emits 109 grams of CO2 per 100km. Running in electric mode, the Prologue has zero emissions.
Peugeot sources said the Prologue will be a diesel-electric hybrid. The concept is based on the same platform as the 308 lower-medium car.
A production version of the Prologue will be shown at the Geneva auto show in March. It will go on sale starting in the summer of 2009.
