Hyundai introduced its second-generation Veloster and Veloster Turbo. The Veloster is the first U.S. nameplate to be tuned by Hyundai's new N performance subbrand. The base 2.0-liter engine delivers a peak output of 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque. Hyundai says the 1.6-liter turbocharged, direct-injected four-cylinder engine produces 201 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque. Hyundai expects the new Veloster models to appear in U.S. showrooms in the second quarter of 2018.
