BURGOS, Spain -- Spanish automotive supplier Grupo Antolin is setting up a joint venture in north China with Japanese foam processor Inoac Corp. and China's Ningbo Huaxiang Electronic.

The three-way venture "will be the only business platform for all three parties in the territory," and could allow the partners to consolidate their commercial resources in northern China, Grupo Antolin said.

Antolin, which is based in Burgos, Spain, is a major producer of headliners, seats and interior parts. The company also is expanding into the lighting business through the acquisition of CML Innovative Technologies, a deal that was announced last week.

Antolin operates ten facilities in China.
