Skoda sets new high for vehicle sales in 2012

PRAGUE (Reuters) -- Skoda raised unit sales by 7 percent last year to a record 939,200 cars, Volkswagen's Czech unit said on Friday.

The growth in 2012 sales followed a 15 percent sales rise in 2011.

In December alone, shipments increased 6 percent year-on-year to 66,200 for Skoda, which its the largest export in the Czech Republic.
