Do you know any talented young automotive executives with the potential to become future CEOs or management board members? In the past two years, Automotive News Europe has identified more than 40 people who are already demonstrating the caliber and capability to become top industry leaders of tomorrow.
The 3rd annual Rising Stars awards will recognize another group of auto leaders who are also setting the future agenda. From automakers to suppliers, from design to manufacturing and from sales to finance, PR and purchasing, each Rising Star has spearheaded change and driven fresh business thinking.
To qualify, candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of work experience, multiple language skills and be 45 years old or younger. We accept nominations from automakers, suppliers, automotive service providers and retail/aftersales businesses.

You may nominate more than one candidate. The deadline for nominations is Feb. 1. Any nominations received after this date will be considered for the 2014 award.
The jury selects the finalists and the Rising Stars in the following categories:

• Sales
• Human resources
• Information technology
• Finance
• Purchasing
• Communications
• General management
"Today, more than ever, our industry requires innovative leadership from people who embrace change and challenge conventional wisdom," said Chris Donkin, Chief Executive of personnel specialists Magma People, which is working in partnership with Automotive News Europe on the Rising Stars.
"The Rising Star is a unique award that recognizes those individuals who will shape and drive the European automotive industry in the future -- and the companies who are nurturing that talent," Donkin added. "Key leadership attributes we look for in identifying those Rising Stars are vision, focus and insight, together with clarity of thought and expression and a real passion for people and for the business."
The 2013 Rising Stars will be honored later this year.
