Keith Crain, Automotive News editor-in-chief, left, gathered last week with industry figures Ralph Nader, Edsel Ford II and Roger Penske in Washington, D.C., where Ford, 64, received the 2013 Keith Crain/Automotive News Lifetime Achievement Award during the Washington Auto Show. The award is given annually to an individual whose career has made a significant contribution to the auto industry. Nader received the award in 2010, and Penske was the honoree in 2012.
