PSA-Changan JV appoints new president
Gilles Boussac is the new president of Changan PSA Automobile Co., a 50-50 joint venture between PSA/Peugeot-Citroen and China's Changan Automobile Co.
The appointment will take effect on March 27, PSA said in a statement.
For the past four years, Boussac, 52, has been executive vice president for aftersales service and parts at another PSA China joint venture, Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobiles Co.
Gilles Boussac will oversee the start of Citroen DS5 production in China later this year.
Eric Apode, 47, the current president of Changan PSA, will return to France to lead the global projects unit in PSA's r&d unit, the automaker said.
Changan PSA, established in the southern China city of Shenzhen in 2011, will launch production of the Citroen DS5 in the second half of this year.
