VW to add flat batteries in bid to expand range of EVs

Volkswagen plans to boost its EV lineup which currently includes models such as the e-Golf.

FRANKFURT (Bloomberg) -- Volkswagen Group is preparing to integrate flat batteries into future cars as the automaker plans to boost its electric-vehicle lineup following its emissions manipulation scandal.
