Rudi Thun is the COO of Roadster. Thun has been an executive leader in online automotive for more than 15 years. At Roadster, he leads the company’s business development, marketing and content strategy efforts. Most recently, Thun was Head of Vehicles for eBay Motors, where he led day-to-day operations of eBay’s vehicle marketplace. Prior to joining eBay Motors, Thun was COO of CarWoo!, a VC-funded new car marketplace. Before that, he was VP and General Manager of AOL’s automotive properties. Thun’s passion for the auto industry dates back to his childhood, growing up near Detroit, and further developed during his first job with Ford Motor Company. Thun earned his MBA from University of California at Berkeley, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
Todd Mason is Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) for RouteOne, a joint venture created by Ally Financial, Ford Motor Credit, TD Auto Finance, and Toyota Financial Services. He is responsible for managing product conception, development, and strategy, as well as implementation of all marketing-related strategy and tactics for RouteOne.
Prior to joining RouteOne in June 2013, Mason served as Chief Product Officer for CU Solutions Group. His responsibilities included oversight of technology, marketing, human resource and consumer loyalty business lines. During his tenure at CU Solutions Group, he helped launch two companies, led ‘Invest in America’ (a consumer loyalty program in partnership with Sprint, GM and Intuit), and developed a number of technology-based products.
