Daimler will start making electric cars in China in 2019

Production of the Mercedes EQC will begin in China next year.

STUTTGART -- Daimler is on track to meet a quota for so-called new-energy vehicles (NEVs) in China this year, the automaker's China boss, Hubertus Troska, said.
