More efficient power steering
LONDON - Electric Power Steering is standard on several versions of the new Opel/Vauxhall Corsa, and an option on the remainder.
This alternative to hydraulic power steering was developed by Japanese supplier NSK Group. It is up to 5kg lighter, easier to install, and consumes 2-5 percent less fuel.
It only consumes power when necessary, unlike a hydraulic system, which continuously powers its fluid pump.
