The Mercedes-Benz M class doesn't go on sale until fall, but it is already starring in a summer movie, The Lost World, sequel to Jurassic Park. The sport-utility will be part of promotional toys and video games, too. Volvo did the same thing with its C70 in The Saint. BMW had a blockbuster movie tie-in with the Z3 in 1995's Goldeneye. And Ford's Explorer featured as the suspense-surrounded vehicle in the original Jurassic Park.
