TOKYO - Honda will unveil a small-car concept for Europe at the Geneva show in March.
Honda needs a small car to push annual European sales above 300,000 - its goal for 2000, said Kazue Ito, president of Honda Motor Europe.
Honda will sell around 220,000 units this year in western Europe, including 12,000-13,000 in the former Eastern Bloc.
Next year, Honda plans to build 170,000 cars at its Swindon, UK, plant: 80,000 Accords, 60,000 Civic five-doors and 30,000 Civic wagons. The wagon will go on sale starting next March or April.
