DANA - President Joseph Magliochetti has added the post of chief operating officer to his responsibilities. He will assume direct control over all US and international operations except leasing. Previously, some international operations were the responsibility of Carl Hirsch, executive vice president, who will retire in early 1998
LEAR CORP. - Patrick Murray has been named director of styling and industrial design. He will manage the supplier's existing studio in Turin and its new technology campus being built at Southfield, Michigan. Murray previously worked at GM's design center.
INCHCAPE- The international distribution group has appointed two executive directors to the board, effective 1 January 1998. Trevor Taylor, 60, is chief executive of Inchcape's Toyota division, and Peter Johnson, 50, is chief executive of Inchcape Motors International. Andrew Cummins, Inchcape group director for strategy, will leave the company on 31 December.
