The Detroit and Geneva auto shows are the favorites of the press.
Andrew Hamilton, a writer for the Irish Times and a member of the Car of the Year jury, goes to the Frankfurt, Geneva, Paris, Birmingham, Tokyo and Detroit shows. Geneva is his favorite show, 'but Detroit is the best organized show,' he says.
Kurt Ellegaard was the first Danish auto journalist to go to all the big shows in Europe, the USA and Asia.
Today, at least 10 colleagues follow him. His favorites are also Geneva and Detroit.
He explains why he likes the organization in Detroit.
'All press meeting are in-house, and all the bosses are there,' says Ellegaard. 'You do not have to look for them.'
