STOCKHOLM - The Saab 9-3 shown at the Detroit auto show last month will go on sale first in Sweden, Germany, France and the UK in March. In April it will arrive in Spain and Italy.
The facelift of the old 900 includes wider, more effective bumpers, twin front and side airbags and new front seats. Suspension and steering have been adjusted to make the car more agile in winter conditions, following criticism of its road handling by Swedish auto magazines.
The diesel version will go on sale first in Spain, France, Italy and the Netherlands. It will not be released in the UK until August.
