THE CHAIRMAN of Europe's second-largest supplier company and Daimler-Benz's top sales and marketing executive will speak at the Automotive News Europe Congress, 22-23 June in The Hague.
Noel Goutard, chairman of Valeo, will be a keynote speaker at a gala dinner on Monday, 22 June.
Dieter Zetsche, member of the Daimler management board, will speak on 23 June.
Other speakers include Paolo Cantarella, managing director of Fiat SpA and Louis Schweitzer, president of Renault.
Goutard expanded Valeo's presence in North America, South America and Asia while strengthening its core divisions. Valeo has lowered costs, raised quality and efficiency, and invested in research and development and new facilities.
Zetsche is leading the effort to extend the Mercedes-Benz brand into new market segments. The successful debut of the M-class sport-utility in the USA last year was the first major effort. The delayed launch of the A-class is next. Zetsche was in charge of car development before taking over as Daimler's head of sales and marketing in 1995.
The Automotive News Europe Congress begins on Monday afternoon, 22 June with a panel of engineering executives from carmakers and suppliers.
A full day of speakers is scheduled for Tuesday, 23 June. Gala dinners with keynote speakers are planned for both 22 June and 23 June at the Netherlands Congress Centre in The Hague.
