TURIN - Lancia's 1998 editions of the Dedra sedan and wagon offer a single equipment level, although there are several optional features. The interior has been restyled, with a dashboard and facia carried over from the Delta.
The Dedra's choice of three engines now includes the 1.6-liter, 103hp unit first introduced on the Fiat Bravo/Brava in August 1995.
The 1.8-liter gasoline and 2.0-liter turbodiesel are carried over from the previous Dedra. Lancia decided not to offer the more modern turbodiesel with common-rail direct-injection that equips the Alfa Romeo 156.
Prices are 1.5-3.0 percent lower than last year's model.
