Rolls-Royce will be able to scale new heights when it launches the Silver Seraph today.
Strict rules limiting the height of exhibition stands to 1.4 meters have been relaxed for the new sedan.
'Palexpo officials are allowing us special dispensation and we're very grateful,' said Chief Executive Graham Morris. 'It means we can lay on a spectacular and dramatic launch which we feel is fitting for the car.'
The Silver Seraph is only the ninth completely new model to be launched in the 92-year history of Rolls-Royce.
The dispensation means a theater construction reaching a full eight meters - built in secrecy behind ceiling-high black curtains - will be ready for the 1 p.m. launch. But the theater will only be in place for six hours. By Wednesday, the Rolls display will be deconstructed to again comply with the rules.
