SEAT - Marlo Guerreiro has been appointed director of product communication for SEAT. He is a former executive editor with the German publishing group Motorpress.
VOLVO - Lars Ramqvist, 59, will become deputy chairman when he joins the board at the company's annual meeting on 22 April. Ramqvist was formerly chief executive officer of Ericsson. He will be joined by Fin Johnsson, chairman of Merchant Venture Investments and a director of Perstorp AB. Johnsson, 52, is a former president of EUROC and United Distillers.
JAGUAR - Georges Keller, the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars senior executive for corporate affairs, Europe, for 20 years, has been named director of sales/marketing and public relations of the new Jaguar Switzerland organization within the Emil Frey Group. Keller also has 102 days experience at Mercedes-Benz, during 1991.
DALPHI-METAL ESPANA - Marek Michalski has retired as marketing manager. No replacement has been announced.
ROVER - Steve Harris, Rover Group UK corporate sales director, will lead Rover's new unified sales team after the company merges its two corporate sales divisions.
TI Group - Eduardo Moraes has been appointed managing director, Europe, Middle East and Africa, of Forsheda Polymer Engineering, a division of the TI Group. He had been president of the Automotive Division, Bundy International in Latin America. That post has been filled by Walter Serer, with Bundy Latin America since 1993.
FEDERAL MOGUL - Thomas Ryan has been promoted to executive vice president and chief financial officer. Ryan joined the company in 1997.
TENNECO - Dana Mead, chairman and chief executive officer of Tenneco and a director of the National Association of Manufacturers in the USA, was honored for outstanding contributions to American-German economic and business relations by the American Council on Germany.
NISSAN EUROPE - Ralf Toni Pulm has joined Nissan Europe as director of marketing. He had been president of Ford Austria since 1994. Pulm resigned just after presenting the Ford Focus to Austrian dealers in Geneva on 28 February. Pulm joined Ford in 1963.
ITT - Toshiaki Yasuda has been named director of marketing and communications for ITT Automotive, Asia Pacific. He was previously responsible for the Japanese market at Singapore-based company JTC International. Before that, Yasuda was general manager of the Singapore office of JAMA, the Japanese carmaker organization. He has held various positions at Nissan.
