GENEVA - The Geneva auto show, traditionally held in the first week of March, will take place one week later in 1999. The show will run from 11-21 March next year. Press days will be on 9 and 10 March.
The change was made to avoid conflict with a consumer goods exhibition in Basel, Switzerland, said Rene Lambelet, spokesman for the auto show's organizer.
The Salon international de l'Automobile in Geneva this year attracted about 4,500 journalists from around the world, and exhibits from 33 countries.
