Bundy-GM
ABINGDON, UK - Bundy Group, part of TI Group, will supply all fuel and brake lines to the Europe-built GM Zafira multi-purpose vehicle. The contract is worth around $4 million a year.
Dana-Fiat
BUENOS AIRES - Dana will supply a total of 35,000 front-corner and rear-suspension modules a year to Fiat's Argentina-built Duna and Una cars starting in May. In the first stage of the contract, about 38 percent of the modules' content will be supplied by Dana itself. This will rise in the second stage to more than 50 percent.
Hella-GM
LIPPSTADT, Germany - Hella is sole supplier of the front headlamps for GM's new Astra. Plants at Lippstadt, Germany, Banbury, UK, and Ljubljana, Slovenia, will supply up to 86,000 headlamp pairs per month.
Ecia/Bertrand Faure improve
PARIS - Ecia and Bertrand Faure both improved sales and revenue before their merger in January 1998.
Bertrand Faure's seating sales rose 15.5 percent last year, to FF12.5 billion ($2.1 billion). Group sales in 1997 reached FF15.9 billion and profits jumped 38 percent to FF425 million.
Ecia, PSA's parts subsidiary, increased sales 12 percent to FF10.5 billion ($1.75 billion).
Bertrand Faure Chairman Daniel Dewavrin will be chairman of the new group, which will be named in June.
The group plans to raise new equity of FF2 billion. That will reduce PSA's stake from 68 percent to 51 percent.
