AUDI - Len Hunt, director of Audi UK, has been appointed vice president of Audi of America effective 1 January. He will succeed Gerd Klauss, who becomes President and CEO of Volkswagen of America. Hunt joined Rover Group after graduating in 1978, and was 11 years at Jaguar. His positions there included worldwide service director and UK operations director. He moved to Audi in 1994.
BUNDY - Simon Thomas has been named finance director for Bundy Automotive Europe. Bundy is a subsidiary of the fluid carrying systems manufacturer TI Group. Thomas, 42, formerly with Siebe Group company APV, will oversee financial management of Bundy Automotive operations in 14 countries across western and eastern Europe, and also South Africa.
FORD - Kenneth Joergensen, 37, is the new managing director of Ford's Danish subsidiary. His predecessor, Paul de Rooij, goes to Ford in Germany. Joergensen started as trainee at Ford Denmark in 1979 before being posted to London and Cologne. His most recent job was as managing director for sales at Ford Denmark.
LEAR - Albert Billis has been appointed senior vice president and COO of Lear Corporation. Billis will oversee the integration of the Delphi seating business into Lear. He joined Lear on 1 July after 35 years at GM.
BOSAL - Karl Van Bael has been appointed group manufacturing operations director of global exhaust systems manufacturer Bosal. He was vice-president of Monroe Europe when it merged into Tenneco Automotive Europe.
BUNDY - Simon Thomas has been appointed finance director of Bundy Automotive Europe, the automotive industry subsidiary of the TI group. Thomas, 42, joins Bundy from APV plc., a Siebe Group company, where he was financial director, sales and service division. He will be based in Abingdon, UK.
FORD - Wilhelm van Schaardenburgh is to take over as European director of Ford Power Products. He succeeds the late Gert Wenzler. Schaardenburgh has worked for Ford since leaving college in 1964.
VAUXHALL - Andy Robson is the new marketing manager of Vauxhall Finance. Robson's previous post was tactical marketing programmes manager for Vauxhall. Vauxhall Finance is the UK unit of General Motors Acceptance Corporation, and has 240,000 retail accounts.
