CURITIBA, Brazil - Bundy Brazil, part of TI Group, has become Renault's preferred brake line supplier in South America. Bundy has won contracts worth £2.5 million ($4 million) and £1.7 million respectively for the Brazilian-built Clio and Scenic. Bundy's facility in Curitiba will supply the brake line systems.
LUCASVARITY'S automotive division has received a contract for a brake actuation system, rear drum brakes and front calipers for Honda's 1999 Odyssey minivan.
TELFORD, UK - Bundy UK has developed an underbody brake line measuring 4.7 meters for the Peugeot 206. The new line eliminates the need for tube-to-tube connections. It helped Bundy win a contract worth £3.5 million ($5.8 million) a year to supply complete braking systems for the 206. Bundy will supply Peugeot's factories in Mulhouse, France and Ryton, UK.
VENLO, the Netherlands - Schneider Logistics Europe BV has won a contract to manage pan-European shipments for TRW Automotive. Schneider will provide support for TRW's supply chain to include in-bound, out-bound and inter-plant shipments.
SUPERIOR Industies International has received multiyear contracts to supply chrome-plated aluminum road wheels for the GMC Denali and Cadillac Escalade sport-utilities in the USA. Shipments began earlier this year.
