BUNDY - Allan Welsh has joined Bundy Group, part of TI Group, as chief executive. He moves to the fluid carrying systems specialist from the top job at T&N's Piston Products Group. Welsh also becomes a member of TI Group's board of directors. Welsh will also oversee Bundy's refrigeration operations. John Langston, chief executive of Bundy Automotive since 1997, has taken up the same position at Forsheda Polymer Engineering, also a member of the TI Group.
GKN - Tom Chambers has been named managing director of GKN Automotive Driveline Division's Operations Americas unit. Chambers, a former managing director of General Motors France, was most recently president of electrical systems at ITT Automotive. Bob Saunders has joined GKN Sankey Auto Components Division as chief executive. Saunders moves from John Crane Lubrication Systems, where he was managing director.
GM EUROPE - Following the disbanding of General Motors' International Operations, three new executives have been appointed at GM Europe. Cheri Alexander moves from vice president, personnel, at GM International Operations to take up the same position at GM Europe. Alexander replaces Michael Gannon, who has been made personnel director at the Saginaw division of Delphi Automotive Systems. Marc Beckers has been appointed vice president, international communications at GM Europe. He was formerly vice president, public affairs, for both GM Europe and GM International Operations. Michael Millikin, recently elected a member of the Adam Opel AG supervisory board, has been made vice president and general counsel, GM Europe. He held a similar title in the former GM International Operations organization. In a further move, Maryann Goebel has been named GM Europe's chief information officer.
