NORTHAMPTON, UK - Four senior Cosworth managers have quit the company to launch their own independent vehicle consultancy firm.
Called Integral Powertrain, the new business aims to provide a powertrain design and development service.
The group includes Roger Duckworth, son of Cosworth co-founder Keith Duckworth.
He is joined by Luke Barber, former chief engineer - projects; Darren Cairns, who was in charge of Cosworth's advanced Computer Aided Engineering; and John McLean, ex-senior engineering manager responsible for all design, development and test activities at Cosworth.
Cosworth was taken over by Volkswagen's Audi division last year. Duckworth said Audi had changed managerial roles at Cosworth.
