TURIN - Giovanni Razelli, head of Fiat's automotive operations in South America since 1996, is leaving for personal reasons. He will be succeeded by Giovanni Coda, managing director of Fiat Ferroviaria, Fiat's railway division in Italy.
Maurizio Magnabosco replaces Coda at Fiat Ferroviaria. Giuseppe Alessandria, head of human resources at the Fiat SpA holding company, takes over Magnabosco's previous position of personnel director at Fiat Auto.
Fiat Auto's current technical director, Stefano Iacoponi, is expected to head Fiat Group Research Center (CRF), starting in September. In his new position, Iacoponi will act as chief technical officer for Fiat Group. Iacoponi will be replaced at Fiat Auto by Renato Zambrano, B-platform director.
