MONTREAUX, Switzerland - Wolfgang Reitzle, head of Ford's new luxury-car division, will be among the dinner speakers at the Automotive News Europe Congress on June 19 here.
Reitzle will be part of a special gala evening that will include two chief executives officers as speakers - Richard Wagoner, president of General Motors, and Jean-Martin Folz, chairman of PSA/Peugeot-Citroen.
Reitzle spent most of his career at BMW, gaining a reputation as one of the industry's most dynamic and creative product development executives. Within weeks after resigning in February 1999, he was named by Ford Chairman Jac Nasser to head Premier Automotive Group, a new division grouping Jaguar, Volvo, Lincoln and Aston Martin.
The Congress will begin on Monday morning, June 19, and continue through Tuesday afternoon.
