STUTTGART - Porsche has renewed its six-year-old relationship with Frankfurt-based KEK Klaus E. Kuester, its lead global agency. It faced Hamburg-based Pirouz Wolf in a final pitch. Contestants in an earlier round included
BBDO Worldwide-owned KNSK, Hamburg; BMZ/FCA, Dusseldorf; and an unnamed local agency.
KEK is Porsche's global lead agency and cooperates with Minneapolis-based Carmichael-Lynch in the USA, the automaker's largest market. The US account is estimated at between $20 million to $30 million, compared with $5 million in Germany.
Porsche sold 10,674 cars in the USA in the first six months of this year, more than double the figure for Germany.
