LONDON - Nissan will launch a new Maxima QX sedan in the UK this autumn as it bids to increase sales to fleet and corporate customers.
The Maxima QX is a rare sight in mainland European markets, where the Primera is normally the largest sedan offered by Nissan dealers. Large UK fleets, however, often prefer to buy vehicles from manufacturers who can offer a full range of models.
'It's important for us to be represented in the executive car segment, and to provide Primera drivers with the opportunity to upgrade to a Nissan - and this is particularly relevant for fleet customers,' said Neil Burrows, director of marketing for Nissan Motor (GB).
The new Maxima QX will debut at the Birmingham, England, auto show in October.
