Renault Chairman Louis Schweitzer and Ford of Europe President and CEO David Thursfield have joined the list of executives who will speak at the Automotive News Europe Congress in Prague in June.
The Congress will be held at the Prague Hilton Hotel on June 25 and June 26.
Schweitzer has led a revival of Renault since he became chief executive almost 10 years ago. Two years ago he formed Renault's successful alliance with Nissan.
Schweitzer will speak at a gala dinner on Monday, June 25.
Thursfield has led a major restructuring of Ford of Europe since becoming president in 1999. He was named CEO earlier this year. Thursfield will speak on Tuesday, June 26.
Other speakers in Prague include: Michael Burns, president of General Motors Europe; Hans-Olov Olsson, president of Volvo Car Corp.; Robert Buchelhofer; board member of Volkswagen AG in charge of sales and marketing; Takis Athanasopolous, chief operating officer of Toyota Motor Europe; Jose Maria Alapont, president of Delphi
Europe; and Franz-Josef Kortum, president and CEO of Webasto AG.
More than 600 delegates are expected to attend.
