The demarcation lines were there for all to see at the DaimlerChrysler stand. A wide carpet emblazoned with the words 'DaimlerChrysler Boulevard' cut right through the middle of D/C's allotted area at the show, providing a distinct separation between the German and US brands. Mercedes-Benz was on one side of the carpet; Chrysler and Jeep were on the other. But it could have been worse. At least it was called 'boulevard' and not 'strasse.'
