Automobiles Peugeot CEO Frederick Saint-Geours; Skoda Chairman Vratislav Kulhanek; and Fiat Auto's new global sales and marketing boss, Juan Jose DiazRuiz have joined the list of executives who will speak at the Automotive News Europe Congress in Prague in June.
The Congress will be held at the Prague Hilton Hotel on June 25 and June 26.
Saint-Geours has led PSA/Peugeot-Citroen's Peugeot brand since 1998. During that time Peugeot has sharply increased its market share in Europe, aided by product innovations and its diesel engine offerings.
Kulhanek has been Skoda's chairman since 1997, overseeing a big improvement in both sales and quality reputation in western Europe. He previously served as chief executive of Robert Bosch's Czech subsidiary.
The much-traveled Diaz Ruiz built a reputation as an aggressive market-share builder as the top sales and marketing executive at Audi and Toyota Europe. The outspoken executive joined Fiat Auto last autumn and has responsibility for Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Lancia sales and marketing.
Other speakers in Prague include: Louis Schweitzer, chairman of Renault; Michael Burns, president of GM Europe; David Thursfield, president of Ford of Europe; Hans-Olov Olsson, president of Volvo Car Corp.; Robert Buchelhofer; board member of Volkswagen AG in charge of sales and marketing; Takis Athanasopolous, chief operating officer of Toyota Motor Europe; Jose Maria Alapont, President of Delphi Europe; and Franz-Josef Kortum, President and CEO of Webasto AG.
A gala dinner is planned for Monday night, June 25, with Schweitzer as the keynote speaker.
