Hans-Georg Härter will succeed Siegfried Goll as CEO of ZF Friedrichshafen.
Härter, 60, currently heads ZF Sachs, ZFs powertrain and suspension components division, and also is responsible for ZFs operations in Asia-Pacific.
Härter has worked for ZF for more than 30 years. After ZF bought the powertrain specialists Sachs in 2003, Härter led the companys integration into ZF.
Goll, 65, is retiring on December 31. He has been CEO of ZF since July 2001. Härter will be appointed to ZFs management board effective October 1 and will become CEO on January 1, 2007.
