Robert Bosch supplies the Audi Q5 premium SUV’s adaptive cruise control and electronic stability control. When towing, the system detects when the trailer is about to fishtail and prevents this by applying braking to the appropriate wheels.
The system also knows when the Q5 is carrying a full roof rack and adjusts braking performance accordingly.
Brose provides two versions of the Q5’s manual rear-seat adjuster. The standard fit allows the seat to be reclined and folded. The high-end option additionally permits a choice between extra legroom in the back seat or more space in the trunk.
Brose expects fitment rates of 60 percent for the basic and 40 percent for the high-end version.
