PARIS -- Nissan's luxury brand Infiniti has opened European order books for its G37 convertible, which will reach showrooms in September.
Prices for the four-seat G37 Cabrio will start at 52,600 euros.
Potential buyers can pay additional 3,600 euros for a GT Premium version of the car, which will offer a new satellite navigation and entertainment system, audio speakers in the headrest and other upscale options.
The G37 Cabrio is a European adaptation of the G37 convertible sold in the United States. It features the same automatic, three-piece sliding metal roof and is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 gasoline engine producing 320 horsepower.
Infiniti hopes that adding the convertible as a fifth model will boost interest in the pan-European rollout of the former U.S.-only brand, which started in October 2008.
