ALTENSTEIG, Germany - German supplier Boysen expects low growth in the exhaust sector so it's looking to move into a new business area.
CEO Rolf Geis said: "In the future, there will only be low growth rates to sustain our potential in the exhaust area."
But Geisel said he is not under pressure. "We will still generate growth in the next few years even if the market doesn't grow," he said.
Geisel wants to build up a second business area to support the company. He declined to give more details.
The CEO said Boysen will be in the black for 2009. Boysen had revenue of 645 million euros last year.
