As partner countries, the United States and Canada are a major focus of the International Suppliers Fair (IZB) in Wolfsburg. In all, there are 650 exhibitors spread out over 35,000 square meters. A wide range of conferences and supporting programs will complement the IZB international supplier trade fair this year.
A special focus is on trends in the United States and Canadian automotive markets as well as transatlantic economic ties. The United States and Canada are the IZB's partner countries this year.
The IZB is open to industry professionals from Oct. 6-8.
A pre-event, the American-Canadian Automotive Congress, takes place on Oct. 5 in the Forum AutoVision.
The issues covered at the Congress will range from the demands of the North American auto market to reports on the experiences of established auto suppliers.
At the 26th VDI/VW Joint Conference on Driver Aids and Integrated Safety on Oct. 6 and 7, experts will grapple with issues of the appropriate market and pricing for driver-aid functions in the high-volume segment.
On Oct. 7, for the first time as part of the IZB, the main event of the European Technical Textile Producers takes place in Hall 2 on the trade fair grounds.
Other specialized events are devoted to the partner countries as well as industry issues, such as electric mobility and investment opportunities in Germany and international locations.
A job exchange day on Oct. 7 offers job-seekers the chance to learn about openings and career opportunities with the exhibitors.
