Lotus Engineering has hired two new managers to help strengthen its market presence in China and Europe as the company enjoys a third successive year of growth, it says.
Hui Zhang has been appointed general manager for China operations with the responsibility of generating third party business in China and improving the Lotus Engineering local delivery service structure.
Zhang joins Lotus Engineering from Kiekert and has brings with him specific expertise in the European and Chinese automotive industries, the company says.
Martin Elbs joins the company from the German engineering firm ETAS GmbH and will take up responsibility for heading sales in Europe.
This role will focus on developing increased consultancy business in Europe and establishing a Lotus Engineering office in Germany, the statement said.
400 new engineers
Lotus Engineering says that last year saw the third successive year of third party sales growth for the company, in line with the company's five year business plan. In response to this, the company plans to recruit approximately 400 engineers by 2015.
