Q: What was your first automotive job and why were you interested in the industry?
A: My first job was in logistic planning at Audi in Ingolstadt. I was interested in the automotive industry because of its long, rich history. The field offers great opportunities for engineers because of the continuous innovation.
Q: GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT?
A: Successfully negotiating a deal with Seat's unions in 2009 to build the all-new Audi Q3 in Martorell starting this year. The addition of this model helps guarantee the future of Seat.
Q: BIGGEST FAILURE AND WHAT IT TAUGHT YOU?
A: After many attempts – and a lot of bruises – I decided to give up skiing. This taught me to be aware of my limits.

A: How global the industry is. If you are not everywhere you will not survive.

A: We're in the middle of negotiating an innovative collective labor agreement with the unions that will cover the next three to five years. This new deal has the potential to turn Seat into a more modern and competitive company.

A: When I start a new challenge, I like to meet with employees at all levels of the organization. I want to hear their views to learn about their perception of the company's situation.
