TURIN – Fiat veteran executive Gianni Coda, who heads the automaker's newly created Europe, Middle East and Africa region, today announced his direct reports.
A total of 28 Fiat and Chrysler Group executives will report to Coda. Those in charge of globally active divisions, such as Chrysler-Lancia boss Saad Chehab, will report to Coda for European activities and to Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne for North America.
Coda also announced that Fiat has scrapped its international division and appointed its boss, Lorenzo Sistino, as sales chief for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
In his role as sales chief, Sistino takes over duties previously done by Andrea Formica, who quit the automaker on August 30 after failing to gain a role in Fiat's top-level management team.
Fiat bosses in Russia, Turkey and Serbia, who previously reported to the international division, now report directly to Coda.
