Porsche named George Wills as a new managing director for its Middle East, Africa and India sales region.
Wills, 45, is promoted from his current role as Porsche's sales chief for the region. He succeeds Deesch Papke who has moved to Porsche's central sales department where he takes responsibility for the company's Rest of the World region.
The Middle East region is Porsche's fourth-largest market by unit volume and has recently experienced strong growth, with sales up 20 percent to 6,842 units in 2010.
Seperately, Porsche said Andre Oosthuizen, 39, will become the company's head of marketing for North America, moving from his post as director of marketing for Porsche's Middle East and Africa region.
Before joining Porsche in 2007, Oosthuizen held marketing management posts with Ford Motor Co. and Volvo Cars in Southern Africa.
