Jaguar Land Rover sales rose 45 percent to 30,981 last month, compared with December 2010, the brands' owner Tata Motors said on Monday.
Land Rover sales were 26,255, up 53 percent, while Jaguar sales for the month rose 9 percent to 4,726.
Cumulative sales of Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal year from March increased 22 percent to 216,412, with Land Rover sales up 31 percent to 176,491 and Jaguar sales down 7 percent to 39,921.
Tata Motors group global sales, including Jaguar Land Rover, rose 27 percent to 114,920 in December 2011. Cumulative sales for the fiscal year were 865,400, up 12 percent.
