SHANGHAI -- Luxembourg's International Automotive Components has opened a headquarters and technical center in Shanghai, China, to oversee the activities of 20 plants and six r&d centers throughout Asia.
Currently 115 employees work at the 30,000-square-foot (2,787-square-meter) facility, but the workforce is expected to grow to 150 people. The IAC's Vice President of the north Asia region, Brian Pour, will be based in the new Shanghai headquarters.
IAC produces headliners, instrument panels, consoles and door panels in 81 factories in 19 countries worldwide.
IAC generated global revenue of $5.3 billion last year.
