BERLIN -- Daimler's Smart division will offer electric and convertible versions of the redesigned ForTwo it unveiled here last week.
The new ForTwo will arrive in European showrooms on Nov. 22 alongside a new four-seat ForFour. Daimler r&d chief Thomas Weber said the EV and cabriolet models will come later.

Weber also told Automotive News Europe sister publication Automotive News that Smart plans a high-performance version built with German tuner Brabus. He did not provide technical details about the derivatives.
While the two-seat ForTwo will be sold in the United States, Daimler has no plans to sell the ForFour in the market.
