Audi's vehicle sales rose 10 percent to 144,000 in July, compared with the same month last year.
Seven-month sales are up 11 percent to1.01 million, the carmaker said today in a statement.
Audi is in a "very good position" to deliver well over 1.6 million cars this year after achieving record sales through July, sales chief Luca de Meo said in the statement.
Audi sales in the Asia-Pacific region rose 16 percent to 56,250 In July, compared to the same month in 2013, to 56,250. Sales to China also rose 16 percent to for 48,279 units.
U.S. sales grew 12 percent to 14,616, while European sales growth during the month was more modest, up 5 percent to 63,950.
The UK was Audi's best performing market in Europe in July with sales rising 11 percent to 12,852 units. In Germany, sales rose 2 percent to 22,303.
Audi said its A6 model played a significant role in the positive monthly figures in July, with global deliveries of the model 14 percent ahead of the same month last year at 26,500 units. Sales of A3 models accounted for the strongest growth in the Audi portfolio, it added, with sales up 52 percent to about 25,450 cars.
